The point is that G3 is 140mm – seems like not enough. Can you suggest any wider e.g. 160mm skins or 140mm should do the trick? Here’s some inexpensive 145’s you can trim to length https://www.sierratradingpost.com/pomoca-free-sb-ready2climb-splitboard-climbing-skins-145mm~p~302rm/?filterString=s~skins%2F January 12, 2018 at 9:23 am #815242 Mike 26 PostsI have a Carbon Solution 162W (30.3 / 26.3 / 30.2) and the G3 Alpinist skins (technically the white label version for Backcountry.com) fit fine. I’d be surprised if you had an issue with the skin width. That said, I’d just go with permnation’s link – hard to beat that price and Jones skins are made by Pomoca anyway. I was looking at the ones on STP but was talked out of them. You can get 145 simple skins on climbingskinsdirect.com for $107 shipped. I’ve been really happy with their skins. Go that way really fast. If something gets in your way, turn. Roll them separately without putting glue to glue. Store them on plastic sheets between tours.
