Bummer, man. But on the positive side, maybe you’ll have more time for making turns this Spring? Or perhaps a relocation to Salt Lake City?

From someone who has never worked for more than 4.5 years in one place, change can be good. There are a lot of jobs out there right now. For me, it always looks bad and then boom, a door opens up

Doh! Sucks man… but maybe it’s an opportunity in disguise. I think the short-term remedy is to get in some turns (check yer PM’s).

It’s a blessing in disguise for sure. I’ve been there for 7 years. Change will be good.

We have until 8/31 so that gives us some time too.

Shit BCR, move to Valdez & “etrade” online from home in the early a.m. Drop the kids at school @ 9 & 30mins later you’re at the pass & climbing

Well I am sorry to hear about you losing your job. That always sucks.

Like others have said, I think it’s an opportunity for you. I got a hunch you’ll be doing something way better in the near future.

    BCR,

You appear to be a talented chap, I’m sure another job will come along swiftly. Are you a finance guy, or a computer tech guy?

Bummer bcr! However the rode down uncertainty sure sounds exciting. So like now you have a hall pass to tour for the time being. Any plans on heading north?

    Thanks sj,

I have brokerage licenses for the Financial Services industry and a degree in Computer Technology. I’ll be able to find something….its just that whole process I’m not looking forward to. 😕

Not sure if you’re looking to relocate or not but you might be amazed at what property values in Cali will buy in MT/Wy/Id region. Depending on your equity position could be enough to start something for yourself.

Regardless good luck in the changes ahead
