I’m in the wrong hemisphere for this part of the year, it’s London and the temperatures are in the 30sC for the 6th day in a roll. Crazy. The damp air doesn’t help too. I am literally melting on the couch and starting to think that there never was a winter and it’s just a lie that They are telling us to keep us in control. Look even an entire fake splitboarding forum 😀
So how are you coping with the bad months? What activities are replacing snowboarding for you? If it’s snowboarding again, I hate you… I tried wakeboard recently, very fun. Similler to deep powder riding. Have been mountain biking for a while, it’s gread to sometimes ride the same places all year round. Also good for planning new routes.
If it’s any consolation, Australia is having (cue comic book guy voiceover) the worst season *ever*. I can hack virtually anything, but not rain. 😥
I am considering emigrating to NZ as they seem to be having a fantastic season. The glacier country around the main divide must be going off like a bag of crabs in the sun right now. I will get there…
91 degree dark apartment, hunched over a small flickering TV, Watching better riders than me on bigger mountains than mine Waxing my planks, telling my roommate to screw off when he asks if I’ve got heat stroke, or at least if I Wouldn’t mind putting on my some more clothes And not looking so crazy when his family comes over Envying Method and everyone else in the southern hemisphere Tickets to Santiago are $1800 round-trip, but that’s getting ahead Of ourselves, Only $1300 one way… What are they odds of extradition for dodging student loan debt? Probably low, Florida schools never taught me anything About the mountains…
Short answer, like ieism, I wouldn’t exactly call it coping… job search for Oregon continues…
Ha! My roommate is moving to Wisconsin for love (certainly not mountains), I’ll have to pass this along too him as something to fill the hole in his soul in the flat flat lands…

thread bump. Digging back through old stuff and found this. Funny thing is my friend has now moved to Wisconsin for love. I should have shot him while I had the chance 🙂
