There’s no shuttle service to Baker from either since there’s no accommodations at the Mountain. Baker does have a van that runs up to the mountain in the morning but I don’t think they go all the way to Bellingham. The Snowrider Project has an old bus, If there’s enough people that might be an option (if the bus is legal), there’s also another small van/bus that heads up there from Glacier every morning, maybe he could be convinced to make a trip. If all else fails I have a vanGreat work Terry, I’m sure I’ll be there but most likely sleeping in the van. I plan on going up Friday morning and ride the clownwire to get my ya-yas out so I can dedicate myself to the festival. So I could pick you up on the way.Had an idea last night; after the raffle we should do an acoustic jam session. So all you musicians out there, bring your acoustic instruments. (I’m emphasizing acoustic because the power up there is rather limited and I’d rather keep this simple) October 28, 2009 at 8:37 pm #620500 fustercluck 668 Posts @aksltxlt wrote:I’m tryin to rally up some people in the area (sno bro is down) so were gonna drive it, anyone else wanna go and help split gass hit me up. We are leaving from South Lake and will probly stop at some bueno sk8 spots I won’t be able to commit for a while, but I’m leaning towards attending, and would prefer to drive and split gas (or diesel and vegi oil). I’m not a skater, but I would like to hit some other spots on the way and get in several days on the splitty, and perhaps a day at Mt. Baker ski area if the pow is good to go. Keep me in mind as we get closer. October 29, 2009 at 2:00 pm #620501 Wyomingsplit_ride 663 PostsLooks great SketchyT-killer website! Are there any ideas for route objectives and group leaders yet?I can offer rides from the Abbotsford Airport in British Columbia, it’s about a 50 minute drive to the lodge.
