Cool article on a guy who seems designed for ski mountaineering. Intelligent Design by the ski gods?

Check out Killian and Anton sending the Grand last summer. Not the record run, but fun to watch.

Weird, just read that last night. In defense of us mortals, Killian is completely inhuman.
When I get out in the mountains I also take no food or water, and trip lightly down the path, chasing butterflies and touching flowers with my fingertips. However, I’m also panting like a sick baby 2 miles in and begging strangers to put me out of my misery.March 28, 2013 at 7:49 am #667306chrisNZParticipant

Dude. You sound so euro.
I’m pretty sure smoking less would get mine up.March 28, 2013 at 2:43 pm #667310PeRiParticipant
Kilian is something else
He’s from my region, the Catalan Pyrenees, and we have known about him for many years already. I have ran into him a couple of times in the mountains.
Above all, he’s a mountain lover… the way he talks about his relationship with nature makes you want to leave everything behind and leave in the wilderness.
check out his latest documentery A fine line, it has great footage!

Guess who won the Hardrock 100 this year?
That’s right folks. Climbed higher than Everest is tall (and back down) in 100 miles at an average altitude of 11,000 ft. . . in less than 24 hrs. He’s a beast.
And you can follow him on Strava!
