If you copy that link, log out of your google account and then paste the link in your browser will it pull up the image? It did not work for me. February 11, 2015 at 9:45 pm #780354 Cbalke 237 Posts @snowsavage I edited your post above and was able to make it work. Hit edit and take a look at what you had and what I put below it. February 11, 2015 at 9:47 pm #780355 snowsavage 312 PostsI’ll give all the context and perhaps you can help?I wont go on a rant about why I do not have the internet at home or a smartphone but that is my situation. So the way I used to post TRs was I would write them in a word doc at home when I had time, I would put all of the url’s into the old code , or what ever. Then I had a word doc I could post when I was able to get to the internet. It seemed like BCrider and Hans G were providing me a way to do that again? Am I correct? Or do I have to be online to build the TR inside of this posting/reply function and be clicking on the ‘img’ button for every photo?…and I have no clue what a BBC code is. I’m an old school digitally illiterate backwoods primitivist, but I still want to post. February 11, 2015 at 9:49 pm #780356 snowsavage 312 Postsok, trying that. Thanks much for your help Cbalke. February 11, 2015 at 9:54 pm #780357 Cbalke 237 PostsNot a problem!Once you get that part dialed you will be able to copy and paste from a work document like you use to do. Although it is more tedious to do than in the old web format. It seems that some of my problem had to do with everytime I paste my url into the brackets it creates spaces that are not supposed to be there, so then I have to go through and find all the spaces that are not supposed to be there and delete them. Any ideas on how to streamline that would be very useful.I’ll be posting a new TR someday. Now that I have the photo part figured out.still gonna be spending more time playing in the mountains and being outside than playing with computers and learning new programs ect. I just can’t get into it, but that’s me. February 12, 2015 at 5:21 pm #780388 Cbalke 237 Posts @snowsavage I modify Hans’ code (url=xxxxx)(img)xxxxx(/img)(/url) to the square brackets and then paste it several times in the text box or word document. Once i copy the image code I highlight the xxxxx above and hit paste. As long as you only copied the image code and nothing more that should alleviate the extra spaces.
