what does everybody like to do in the summer?
Personally i like to fly fish and rock climb. I also like to go on road trips, but with the price of gas that probably won’t happen as much this summer.

Lots and Lots of wakeboarding. Pretty much every weekend unless there is a south swell running. I have let my surfing fall away as of late because I cant stand the crowds. I have promissed myself to do a LOT more surfing . By winter I want to be ready for the big sets.

    And on that note

Open Invite for those of you who happen to be around San Diego this summer and want to wakeboard

And maybe a little white water.
Cache Creek is calling. I just need to replace my spray skirt and paddle that I lost last year.

I like to mtn bike the trails around town. Wifey and I go for a good hike once a week. Been meaning to take up trail running and do some fishing but haven’t gotten round to it yet.

    Mountain biking here, too.

Off to a 24 hour race tonight. Starts at 2pm tomorrow. Apparently the course is really fun if it’s dry, awful if it’s muddy.

And it’s going to piss down!

Climbing next weekend on the south coast if it’s dry, and if I’m not still ruined from this weekend.

rest of summer: surfing, maybe in Scotland, definitely Devon/Cornwall. Wedding in Chamonix in August, will probably take the bikes, the climbing gear and the hiking boots (and maybe some smart clothes!)

Street bike as in motorcycle, mtn bike, rock climb, and build stuff like snowboards.

Skateboarding. Lots and lots of skateboarding. Running Summer Skateboarding Camps with kids and teens, and then camping and skateboarding with friends on the weekends.
Or, alternatively, riding my Schwinn around Denver, thrift shopping and dining with my girlfriend.

Trying to figure out the kitesurfing thing on water – whole new learning curve. Trying to gather up a slew of hall passes for next winter. 8)

Just got my new paddle and spray skirt. Gotta love delivery. Plus my dog loves the treats Brown brings along with my toys.
It’s time to hit the whitewater! 😀

I try to go a couple times during the off season but spend most of my time kayaking and rafting. It’s been a great season with high river levels in late June , We’ll have lots of water all summer long 😀
