I was curious about what are common stance widths. I’m trying to find an average for both women and men riders.

    Needed info:

1)Stance width – measured from center 2 center of the binding mounting discs
    2)Height – your over-all height
3)Snowboard Length – size of snowboard ridden
    4)Gender – woman or man

This info could be very important to splitboard and snowboard manufactures. Please Respond!!! 😀

Also dependent on stance angles and boot type (ankle flex).

    1) I run 19.5″-20.5″ depending on the board.
    2) About 5’9″
    3)149cm-200cm , usually a 186 and my split is a 171cm
    4)male

My inseam is about 30″, leg, not pant size

    Hey Yoda,

Gathering information on stance angles may also be important, mostly because I’ve heard that high angle stance options are limited with climbing brackets.

    for me:
    Male
    5’10”
    stance: 21.5 to 22 inches
    angles: 0-back, 18-front
    boot/binding: soft boot/strap binding
    riding preference: freestyle/freeride

    for puffnattie:
    female
    5’4″
    stance: 19 inches
    angles: 0-back, 18-front
    boot/binding: soft boot/strap binding
    riding preference: freeride

It would be great to see more options for stances. I doubt most backcountry riders don’t go wider than 23 inches, unless you are kareem or stuck in 1992. 😀

    and I am a Taurus

I don’t actually own a splitboard, but the stance angles would remain the same
