May 17, 2006 at 6:22 am #588835 jared 56 PostsYeah, I’ve got a DIY TB already. I broke the tail off so it rides like the(yours EcoB?) infamous Duran-Duran board. The solid TB I’ve got is just such a great ride and I seem to be killing my DIYs faster than I’d like when not in pow. If the 171 Voile had more tip, I’d just get that…it’s hard to pay the $ for a custom Prior when TB already did the math on his board… waiting, waiting, wa-a-a-a-ting for Winterstick May 17, 2006 at 6:42 am #588836 Ecobrad 2068 Posts @jared wrote:(yours EcoB?) infamous Duran-Duran board.Yep, split by docwild. I haven’t ridden it this year though. BCR let me borrow his Burton Custom so I’ve been charging with that.I’d buy a split TB if they made one but that’s not even what they were talking about. The Winterstick splitboards were going to be closer to the Severe Terrain (I think that’s what it’s called). The reason I wasn’t that stoked on it was because they only made 161s and they were really heavy. If I had $1,000+ for a split right now I’d buy a Never Summer. You get to pick from a wide variety of boards, pick the size, then a couple dudes who’ve built hundreds split it for you. Everything that I’ve heard is that they are BOMBER. I’ve never heard a complaint about craftmenship. They’re bank and your going to wait though. My dang TB has got me spoiled rotten on fun turns even during a year of crappy snow in my little sector of paradise.
