I have a credit at Solomon due to a defect in my old boots and would like to know which Solomon soft boots will work best. Most comfortable boot I’ve ever worn and the lacing system (although some have had durability issues) keeps the boots tight. Had a pair of Synapse’s before that, not as stiff, but held up well. I broke the laces twice and ripped a couple eyelets out. They also made the tops of my feet go numb for 4 months. I have boot problems though and have yet to find a boot that lasts a whole season. They are very comfortable, no heel lift, great flex, and stiff enough coming from the hardboots. However, the lace system does give me some concern. I’ve not had any problems yet, other than the liner lace breaking, but I know some day something will happen. But, that’s part of the deal. That’s why I carry duct tape, wire, leatherman, and a headlamp. Viewing 8 posts - 1 through 8 (of 8 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
