You’ll start to appreciate those more when you have a little less time on your hands. Glad you got some good turns. A different perspective may be to look at a slope as canvas to be painted as opposed to something to be destroyed. A well placed skin track and managed turns can be an absolutely beautiful thing. Your skinner and tracks are like your own personal signature on the mountain. Checkin out some perfectly laid down up track on a face can sometimes be much more impressive than the riding itself. As far as managed turns, they can be in the form of anything from Wasatch Wiggles to bomber straight lines. It’s all about being in control of your whip. I just have this thing about The Bird and it felt pretty good to snake everyone and get in those lines before it’s an absolute circus for the year. But hey, we’re all snowboarders here.
