I didn’t name them because I don’t want search engines hitting here. But it should be fairly obvious. The perfect storm brought in several feet of stable powder, and perfect weather followed. This was a good time to hit some steep powder lines! The mountain delivered. The view on the way up was nice. We also noticed that every ski-accessible square meter of Alpental was a mogul run by Sunday. Tony tele-ing. Tony again. Brian landing an opportune drop. Light at the end of the tunnel. Damn. We skied as far as gravity would take us (the sunny flat spot down there), ate some lunch, and then retraced our path. We decided that from the top, we would come down again via an adjacent run. Up Again… Niceness. Powder zombies. Over to the next line. I dropped in far right. Hey, let’s climb that couloir again! Okay! I’d like to get in there myself and was wondering what the best route in is. I know there’s a few possibilities.
