Hey everyone, that’s an edit from a trip to Mt Olympus in Greece last spring. Mt Olympus is the mountain where in ancient Greek mythology the 12 Gods used to live, with Zeus being the leader of all. It lies in the Northern part of Greece, its summit being at 2917m and having great views to the Aegean sea (part of the Mediterranean Sea). No crazy powder scenes or anything like that, just splitboard mountaineering with the summit couloir ride bearing 40 to max 45 degrees. The exposure certainly had its toll on our fear factor over there (not really used to that kind of runs) but that sort of mind struggle is what’s exciting after all. The hut shown in the video is the mountain refuge ‘Kakalos’, an awesome place to be.

Dedicated to this Forum, big thanks to everyone, the info found in here is invaluable! :headbang:

Great edit riding a mythical mountain. The god’s are pleased. If they weren’t I’d expect to see some lightning. Cool anchor at the couloir entry. I’d love to see more from Greece!

No wonder the gods hung out atop Mt. Olympus: If you could chill anywhere while the minions worshiped you, you’d pick a cozy hut surrounded by big time runs too.
