Ridge of Steel

In Flagstaff, with one angry little inch, or maybe two, we just ended a 39 or 40 day dry streak–the longest precip-free period ever recorded in winter… Since the late 1800s.

I’m far from convinced the ridge of steel and doom and hell is dead. It moved. Up to AK. But looking at the models, I think there’s a good chance it’ll build back in in another week. Models are already backing off of precip projections for next week in the SW.
