Stoked to see a final product soon!!"It is better to go riding and think of God, than to go to church and think of sport." Its been a lot of long nights in the shed cranking out and iterating bindings over and over again. But we are here. This is it, something that i could only dream of at the beginning. Thanks to everyone that has been interested in this endeavor, I probably would of given up after the first or second years of RandD if it were not for you. Rest assured splitboarding will continue to be pushed by the riders. October 2, 2013 at 8:15 pm #660013 Reindeer mtn 64 PostsVery smooth stuff, love the new leather straps. When are they released and will you ship to Europe this season? October 3, 2013 at 4:59 am #660014 chrisNZ 304 PostsBindings are ready. Tech toe pieces are ready. Preorders go out first, a few will have these at the end of October. Everything will go onsale after that. Here is some new things i have been working on, i looked around for straps i wanted on my bindings and there was nothing that i liked so i built some. Focus was on Light weight but supportive ankle and cap strap. A urethane blend with leather and foam core for the ankle strap and a full urethane cap strap with ratchet. November 9, 2013 at 5:47 am #660015 chrisNZ 304 PostsHere we go they are done. The Bossu. Wood veneer over e-glass high backs stiff with flex where its needed. Leather straps sewed on an old singer sewing machine (thats why i learned to sew at primary school). Urethane moulded in place contact points where the board and binding touch. Almost all of it (but the ratchets) built in-house in garage. November 9, 2013 at 4:55 pm #660016 Zude 367 PostsBeautiful man nice work.. This sets a new bar for touring in soft boots (from my vantage point). Does the the tech piece work with hard boots as well? Is facebook the only way to order at this point? He’d be ordering from Virginia. He’s into the ground-up operation you’ve got going. Any word on price? November 17, 2013 at 2:26 pm #660023 chrisNZ 304 PostsIt works best with Karakoram clips it might work with Chinese hooks it has clearance to but i recommend Karakoram clips this is what i tested with. You could go no clips just tip and tail the binding can take up the slack in theory.I have been running around on the concrete and shingle with the bindings on trying to destroy the moulded in place urethane bushings but still looking good. My favorite part is the touring… the possibilities from here are exciting. Fitwells with some hardboot inserts please. November 18, 2013 at 11:49 am #660024 esgron 7 PostsI’m interested in these things, they look sweet. I’d like to see many more pictures of these things though, some shots of the board mounts or a new video with the actual production model showing all the pieces and installing the binding in ride mode would go a long way for me.
