So is it on Dec. 9 or Dec. 10? One part of the poster says the 9th, and the bottom of the poster says the 10th. Do they think a whole bunch of uneducated, herb-smoking, dirtbag splitters need any help being confused?

I noticed that too. The website verifies the 10th

I was bummed to hear that the Backcountry cancelled this year’s slide show, but then Mike confirmed that they were going to try a different format. Alas, it’s here and it looks like, as always, he got some great folks to present. Looking forward to it!

Dan’s coming up here to do a slide show?
Sweet! I’ll definitely check that one out.

I guess the Jones/Lightcap one would be ok too 😉

Oh man. You guys are going?
That means I have to bring my “A” Game.

I was originally planning on getting wicked high on the way there, and then just showing a bunch of pictures of flowers and butterflies. But if you guys are gonna be there I’ll put together something a little more substantial.

    Here’s a teaser:

FYI, get there early. In past years when this was held on Wed. nights, seats filled pretty quick. now that it’s on a weekend, I’d imagine it’s gonna get cozy in there. Looks like some good stuff on tap.

Saw something over at unofficialsquaw.com that this slideshow will be featuring some video of some Eastern Sierra lines that did not make it into the Deeper film. It looks like a segment where the crew headed out to the Zebra and North coolies on Emerson and then Jeremy hiked and rode something he called the “Psycho Pinner” will be featured. I was bummed not to see more Eastern Sierra footage in Deeper and in the DVD extras, but I am stoked at this chance to get out and see what they rode on the East Side. Should be a good time.

If they show that then keep an eye out for Brooks (bgnight) and Paul. They overcame Ryland Bell about 1/3rd up the Zebra Couloir on the boot pack up and waited at the top for him to shred his line. You can see them both as Ryland drops. Super rad sequence for those of you who haven’t already seen it on their Deeper dvd’s. :headbang:

Reminder, another slide show happening at Squaw tomorrow night. The last slide show by BCD was awesome of course, and this one with Richard Leversee looks like it should be a great time. Any of you who have the Moynier guidebook (who happens to be the next guy in the lineup!), or are from the old-skool Couloir days are familiar with his great photography.
