Here’s a link to some shots from a trip up to the Chic-chocs in northern Quebec. I had to keep reminding myself that we were still on the east coast. The 10 1/2 hour drive sucks, but the terrain is worth it.
I am currently taking an adventure guiding course in Gaspe and will be starting our alpine skiing course shortly after christmas… chic chocs here I come!
i am currently getting ready to DIY split a winterstick swallowtail for the course, how were the snow conditions? i am seriously hoping for lots of powder 😉
Hey Ben! We went there in late march and they had just seen a bunch of rain. The avy reports wern’t that great either but we did get two good days in out of the week. The rest of the time we drank alot and practiced avy stuff. We ran into some Gaspe folks out there doing the course I think you’re doing. Do you live in the area? hoping to get up there for a week again in March! -rouge
