Here’s a link to some shots from a trip up to the Chic-chocs in northern Quebec. I had to keep reminding myself that we were still on the east coast. The 10 1/2 hour drive sucks, but the terrain is worth it.May 3, 2005 at 12:25 pm #581965affix snowParticipant
On the list in the near future. Wish you could go up in May….damn mating season.
Although it might be easier for me to fly into Montreal then drive instead from Philly.May 3, 2005 at 1:57 pm #581966KillclimbzParticipant

We went there in late march and they had just seen a bunch of rain. The avy reports wern’t that great either but we did get two good days in out of the week. The rest of the time we drank alot and practiced avy stuff. We ran into some Gaspe folks out there doing the course I think you’re doing. Do you live in the area? hoping to get up there for a week again in March!
