Used to split board, really don’t care what your means of travel is, lets get some snow!Escaping the California winter catastrophe….starting to drive north on the 2nd. I expect to head straight up to the Revelstoke area just because it looks like things have been great up there thus far. But to be honest I don’t have much knowledge of the region, so I’m open to suggestions. I’m flyin solo, so anyone that is interested in a ski partner starting somewhere around the 3rd, I’d be really happy to meet some new folks and get in some turns. Full backcountry safety equipment. I’ve also got around 4 years of experience in the backcountry, and have taken Level 1 and 2 Avi courses in the US. I take safety seriously. If you’d be psyched to help me out, show me around, please feel free to give me a call at 305-333-8681. You’ll have yourself a solid ski partner for the day. Thanks! Avy 1, 2, and WFR. If you make your way back into the states I be somewhere in the MT, WY, ID vicinity… unless it starts nuking somewhere then I’ll be there! January 3, 2014 at 2:20 am #673274 denloe 18 Postsjplsplit,Yep, MT, ID, WY, any of that could work. I expect to be in Revy area for a couple of days here, but as I make my way south lets stay in touch and hopefully connect for some turns. Since I’ve got no partner, wherever I can find people and snow is where I’m headed. Let me know how conditions are wherever you are.David January 4, 2014 at 12:14 am #673275 denloe 18 PostsProbably will be heading back down into the states by Sunday evening. I will be willing to head wherever I find snow and a touring partner.David January 6, 2014 at 2:43 am #673276 denloe 18 PostsHeaded down into the Nelson, Kootenay Pass zone for the next few days. If it plays out it could be up to 20″ of fresh by sunday. I’ve been riding some fun stuff in grand teton national park since I’ve been here. Theres always teton pass too. Moderate angles have been great, I don’t have partners every day either so I’ve been playing it pretty safe when riding solo. January 8, 2014 at 6:31 am #673272 denloe 18 PostsYep, that was me with the white Tacoma camper. I skied the Kootenay Pass zone the last few days and had a great time. Less fresh snow but nice and stable conditions. Now down in Whitefish, considering heading into the Tetons. Jplsplit, are you going to be there for a while?
