ParticipantCan I ask all Voile users if that release cord on the straps actually works? It seems like a good idea to have an emergency exit, but why is no other manufacturer using it?

ParticipantCool. I’m totally digging the Revelatory BC fish scales. I don’t know if we have enough low angle approaches or egresses to justify one, but there have been a few times where that would have been lovely, like when I crossed Kodiak Island.

ParticipantI like their stuff. It’s hard to be a leader in a product category. Everyone shoots at your ideas. Keep up the good fight Voile!

ParticipantAnyone have thoughts on the ultra toe straps? Looks interesting but scared of a less than tight fit.

ParticipantI’ve rigged release straps to my Sparks. They work great but I like to tie some webbing between them so that I can release both feet with one pull. I can only hope that I’d be able to catch it when it matters.
