Living in N. Portland, I’m new to the site and splitboarding. I’ve been snowboarding for about 15 years and I’ve finally made the investment in getting away from the resorts. I’ve made a few Baker trips and ridden the cat at Mt. Bailey, but I’d like to see what’s available on my home mountain. I have all the necessary gear, just need some partners and/or a guide.

Hey! I am up in Tri-Cities, Wa for the next couple weeks. But Hood is close enough. I also got a trail book, and would love to start ticking off some of the trails. Anyone down to join me?

The snow has been dismal, but you knew that. I joined a couple guys from the google group mentioned above for my first tour up to Hogsback on Hood a week or two back. The weather was amazing for that one day. Really good corn snow up top when we finally rode down around one in the afternoon. Hopefully winter comes back soon.
