What’s up it’s been awhile since i checked in last, cheers fellow split riders.

Cleaning up my hard drives I came across this piece I had accepted by The Snowboard Journal about 5 years ago and thought i’d post it as the only feedback I got back from it was from the editor. Brought back some good memories/stoke so I figured I’d post it up.

A well-penned piece of journalism. The description of pointing it downhill with little attention paid to surroundings followed by an opening of a snowfield in which the art of the carve is attempted is like a metaphor for the first few years of my friends and me as snowboarders in the late 80s.

ps – Best forum name ever, btw. raisin’ it up / waxin’ it down / in a little box that I can / sell uptown
