About 30 minutes to most trailheads depending on road conditions…

RE Surfing the east coast – One of my best days ever was at Manasquan Inlet, NJ back in the late ’90’s. WELL-overhead and hollow at the inlet with a fairly small crowd. Most late drops resulted in severe pain. There had been a few hurricanes that sat well offshore for days and sent swell up and down the entire coast.

My Westy caught fire on the way back to Florida 😥 We saved the boards though 8)

i could skin up in the garage, cross the street and go but useally I drive the 6 mins to stoney ridge parking…i do ride my bike 5 mins to the trailhead though. i consider myself very lucky to be able to skin, bike and hit the lake all within 5 mins. If I was rubbing it in I would also say that from my couch I see 5 or 6 3000 ft drops. 😀

30-45 minutes for both UT and VT. just can’t leave them hills…

then again, 3 hrs to york or wells, maine for surf. 5+ to RI, but worth it.

But on the bright side, you’re very close to some serious surfing.
