Forums Splitboard Swap SOLD! Chimera Mace 172 Wide, hard boot only, rocker version Viewing 8 posts - 1 through 8 (of 8 total) Author Posts September 6, 2014 at 6:54 pm #580106 barrows 1490 Posts I have a lightly used Chimera Mace 172W for sale. This is a special custom version, which does not have the inserts for the touring bracket or heel riser. It comes with inserts for Dynafit toe pieces (M4 threaded) and Voile heel risers mounted. The board is also custom, with a rocker-flat-rocker profile, Chimera normally makes the Mace with traditional camber. The board is a charger, and a great choice for someone 5’10” and up, who really wants a board which can charge, and barge through anything. Lots of surface area for float, and tons of grip in dicey situations. Stability plus! I will sell it for $350.00 firm, plus shipping, or pick up in Boulder, Colorado. +$30 with G3 High Traction skins trimmed to fit. If your seriously interested, please PM me for details, and I will take some photos for those seriously interested. September 8, 2014 at 3:52 pm #677302 barrows 1490 Posts The board has inserts for Dynafit toe pieces. The only way to use it with a standard Voile touring bracket would be to custom mount the touring bracket (drill and t-nut). I have had numerous pairs of alpine hardboots for groomers and carve boards. I would not, for a second, want to take those things uphill. Compared to the lightweight AT boots we are using, alpine hardboots are so heavy and so stiff on the uphill. September 10, 2014 at 8:07 am #677304 TLN 47 Posts I already got a four pairs of boot and recently bought a 5th one(it was on sale, with really sweet price). I got 3xMalamutes,UPZ RC10 and Deeluxe 325. Cannot justify one more pair. TLT6 are quite pricey though. This is a great deal on hard charging board in great shape for the right (hard boot) rider. Hard to believe this has not sold yet at this price. Will throw in G3 High Traction skins cut to fit for +30$ more… This board needs to be ridden! December 28, 2014 at 9:15 pm #776012 boyracer 27 Posts Barrows, if still available I am interested.
