I have received replies, but no email notification. I checked to make sure my account email address was correct and checked my Spam folder. March 23, 2015 at 11:49 am #781402 Cbalke 237 Posts @rughty Hmm.. I just checked the box and I’ll see if I receive email notifications when you respond. I know there has been some email addresses that the system/server does not seem to work well with, namely hotmail. I’ll take a look at the setting and see what I can find. March 23, 2015 at 5:13 pm #781408 rughty 620 PostsI didn’t get a notification for this reply either. Box was checked again. I imagine since my email is a yahoo account, there shouldn’t be a problem. Again, nothing in the spam folder. I wouldn’t have known there was a response unless I checked my “splitboard new posts” bookmark today. Also…there was an 8 hour or so lag in my splitboard notifications between when it shows I was “mentioned” and the reply notifications even though they were done at the same time. Strange… January 5, 2016 at 11:55 am #787935 PedroDelfuego 758 PostsCant log in with Firefox anymore…Update: 12-6-2016 Working now. Thanks! January 10, 2016 at 1:50 pm #788098 Cbalke 237 PostsHey @PedroDelfuego next time it happens try deleting your cookies and see if that fixes the issue. It sounds like that typically works for most folks. January 11, 2016 at 1:34 pm #788151 PedroDelfuego 758 PostsWasn’t a cookie issue. I delete those 10 times a day. It could be an issue with adblock/ghostery/priv3+ on Firefox. I can log in now, but am unable to open my control panel via the avatar. I can do it on IE11, but never really use IE. I have added sb.com to the popup exception but still doesn’t open… January 23, 2016 at 9:03 am #788601 sdmarkus 407 PostsI’m not able to log in on my iPad, is this a known issue? January 23, 2016 at 2:01 pm #788608 WhitePine 503 Posts @Rughty, I have the same issue. Except it seems to be section dependent. I never get notifications from the general Splitboard Talk forum, however, I do get them from the Bindings, Splitboard Swap and Utah Conditions section.Maybe this is why there is very little chatter in the main general section these days? February 5, 2016 at 9:57 am #789110 weezy 8 PostsThis thread is almost a year old and not one mod/admin/site representative has chimed in yet. That should tell you something.I finally remembered my old login and it’s a bummer to see the current state of neglect this forum is in. February 19, 2016 at 1:28 am #789619 moridinbg 151 PostsI just posted a reply to a post in the Boots section (Arc’teryx Procline post) and when reloaded the page, it was not there? I re-posted it and again it didn’t appear.Edit: Well, this one posted fine. February 22, 2016 at 1:01 pm #789744 weezy 8 Postspowderjunkie,i attempted to register a username on this site since i couldn’t remember my password. sent probably 10 or so registration requests, all went unanswered. finally remembered my password which is the only reason i’m able to post here.userbase here definitely still kicks ass. new forum format is buggy, broken and looks like shit. not sure why the phpbb version was scrapped for this but i’m sure there was some good intentions. not trying to shit in the punchbowl, just my opinion. February 25, 2016 at 5:50 pm #789863 schwalbster 321 Posts @cbalke Same issue as morindingbg above. Posted a response on my thread http://splitboard.com/talk/topic/lightest-softboot-splitboard-set-up-on-the-planet%e2%80%8f/#post-789861 and it’s not there. Here is the funny part: When I use the most recent activity link it shows up at the top!? Can you bring it back? After much research, experimentation and consideration, I have decided adulthood is not for me. Thank you for the opportunity. It’s a killer board. Had a variety of conditions. From powder on the denser side, to some heavier sun affected butter and some hard windboard. The board handled exceptionally well in all conditions. It’s just a blast to ride. It’s so nice to have light feet while skinning. Snow build was not any worse or better than other boards I’ve used. A friend had 2015/2016 Solution and it looked similar. I did have a couple slips with the Kohla skins, which caught me a little off guard, because I’m used to the bomber grip of Voile skins. But Buell whom I was was out with, said it was indeed a very slippery skin track. I fiddled with my nose clip a little more and can flip them in actually, just user error at first.Very excited with my Karakoram Primes as well. Just super solid feel, always loved that about them, whenever I tested them. Coming from Sparks and pucks, it takes a bit of getting used to the different transition process and it involves a bit of cleaning, but it’s nothing in my eyes compared to the benefit I get from them.So the Amplid and Karakoram stoke continues for me!.At this point is is pointless to continue this thread as this board is now outdated and I refer to Buell’s excellent review of the Milligrambecause he is a) A million times more articulate than I am (but I second all his sensations and benefits he gets from his Milligram, I feel very similar about my Lab Carbon Split, even though the board has a different profile) and b) he gets out much more than me 😉 February 25, 2016 at 10:05 pm #789871 schwalbster 321 Posts @permnation Ha thanks for sending that over. That is exactly my post. How weird is that!I also just tried to post it again and it worked. Then I wanted to do a couple edits and add a link, which made it disappear again and now unable to post again. I’ll try again tomorrow. After much research, experimentation and consideration, I have decided adulthood is not for me. Thank you for the opportunity. They have the Flickr link at the bottom.Ever since the forum platform changed, I have received dozens of emails from sb.com about being mentioned in threads. All the threads are old ones from the a year or 2 ago.Who knows? Thanks for the update on the Amplid. February 26, 2016 at 9:57 am #789883 schwalbster 321 Posts @permnation So I think what’s happening is that you just get your normal notifications when a new post has been done in a thread that you had a post in. Up to that point that’s normal. I think that’s a setting somewhere too!? But then I do an edit and the post is gone, but your notification email has already been sent to you. You’ll probably get some more, when I try to post again 😉After much research, experimentation and consideration, I have decided adulthood is not for me. Thank you for the opportunity. February 26, 2016 at 10:13 am #789887 schwalbster 321 PostsTestAfter much research, experimentation and consideration, I have decided adulthood is not for me. Hmm, I thought maybe the linking to it’s own forum is buggy, because it worked once I removed the linkto Buell’s Milligram review, but it worked above!?After much research, experimentation and consideration, I have decided adulthood is not for me.
