Heres a bunch of shots from mostly northern Coloraddy over the past few months…

Erik rides Pt. 12210 off the Continental Divide

    Me off the divide

I ride with poles when I’m too lazy to stash them, so what?

Looking down the Giant Mushroom slide path, Buffalo Mountain, Southern Gore.

    Salt Lick Cirque

Dmandave climbs McHenry’s Notch Couloir. I measured 52 degrees in the upper section…

    Skinning across Mills Lake, RMNP

Moski surveys solitude basin and the McHenrys Notch

    Me exiting McHenrys Notch Couloir

    A snow totem:

Jason chases his dog Butters towards the plains

The Eiseman Hut, a damn fine one

    One of the deepest days…

    Ice art:

    Snow, light, shadow

    Infected tree silhouette

Sunset on a mountain wave cloud

The spring is shaping up well once again, come enjoy the high lonesome!
    Cheers

Nice, Steepy! I’m glad you’re getting after it. I dig the snow, light, shadow you found! 😀

Putting the poo in swimming pool since 1968.

Damn I was just across from there today and saw those lines. Nice job! I’ve been eyeing that face for a while now, and waiting for it to fill in with good conditions. Saw plenty of skier triggered slide activity lower down too.

I am interested in those McHenry’s pics. They are not coming up on this computer. Curious to see your line.

Nice, were you up on Nebraska Hill?
Pretty widespread thin softslab cycle happening. Those skier triggered slides were almost surely from the couple of skiers that followed us up, then split onto that face. Bet they had to do a wash. Good thing it was just a bunch of thin soft slabs! and too bad they’re growing deeper as we speak.

Nice work Steepy. Did you guys do an overnite for McHenry’s Notch Couloir? I have always wanted to spend the night up at Solitude Lake after looking in that Cirque from the top of the Thatchtop-Powell Icefield, this area looks like one of the nicest spots in RMNP.

How was Buffalo Mountain? I lived in Silverthorne last winter and looked at that thing everyday. If you are in the area again let me know. I live up here and I’m trying to find some split partners.

I’m assuming you mean the Buffalo here, I thought that slide bath was called big Elvis though.
