I want to give a testimonial of the quality craftsmanship provided by DowntheMiddle (DTM) custom splitboards. I don’t have any affiliation with DTM. I’m just a very pleased return customer. If you’re looking for a quality custom splitboard job I recommend contacting Monk at DTM.

Monk split a Lib Tech Banana Hammock 160cm for me in 2008. The board is still in the quiver and has held up incredibly after 150+ days on the snow.

I was looking for a more versatile splitboard so I sent my Lib Tech Dark Series 164w to DTM in 2009. This board has been my bread and butter for the last 3-1/2 seasons. Experienced only minor wear and tear on this board . . . to be expected after 100+ days. The interior edges have remained solid after countless ice removals and routine transitions.

I was recently in the market for a “big-gun” for the quiver. I settled on the Lib Tech Skunk Ape 169cm. Couldn’t be more please with the performance thus far. Super stable and solid feel even in variable conditions. Put to the test on a recent three day outing with the overnight pack.

Keep DTM in mind if you’re in the market for a new split stick!

Post more photos more often, please. That method is one of the best splitboard images period. And DTM splits are like artwork.
