Bad form man.Yeah, but you know you still clicked the link, didn’t you! 😉Zach, nice work. I was up in the SKY chutes on Saturday. We were looking right out at you guys: April 6, 2011 at 4:05 pm #638326 taylorzs 47 Poststo dude_reino – thanks! Hope you had fun on the Sky chutes I have been meaning to get over there. I went halfway up the lookers right side K a week or so ago but the snow was slushy from a bad freeze the night before and I turned around. Nice picture, the Ten Mile is a beautiful area. 🙂 to the other negative posts here: this is the last time I will respond to negative comments regarding posting linked trip reports. I like having my own website so that I can write my TR’s with the format that I like with the program I know on my computer. I then link them up at several mountain websites that have a forum for TR’s so that people who like them can read them. It does not make sense to write a TR for every website (14ers.com, splitboard.com, tetongravity.com, etc). I reason that people like reading about mountain adventures so I link my TRs up to multiple sites so that as many people as possible that might find the information fun/interesting/helpful can read it. If you do not like it, do not read it. If the administrators of splitboard.com had issue with what I was doing they would have said something or deleted my TR. I think they like the shared information personally. I am not making money off my site. I am a nursing student, not an outdoor professional. I have no intention of making money off my site. I just like to share my adventures with people that either/or enjoy reading it or are looking for condition information for a future climb. So yeah, buzz off, I do not care. Go find something better to do than write negative comments on a website. Zach April 6, 2011 at 4:08 pm #638327 taylorzs 47 PostsPS. shamelessly degrading someone’s trip report is bad form too. April 6, 2011 at 4:16 pm #638328 dude_reino 467 PostsWhat I consider the worst form of all is the fact that us Colorado riders collectively have the least amount of TRs relative to the sheer acreage of terrain we have in this state. C’mon guys, we gotta stick together and post up against the Sierra Menace! April 6, 2011 at 4:21 pm #638329 ehcarley 411 PostsI never said you had to post it all here, but how ’bout two pictures and a summary? That isn’t really asking much. Here’s an idea, post your intro paragraph from your blog, a pic of the objective, and a pic of someone shredding a line. For example, look at Killingcokes’ TRs from TGR. he doesn’t post the whole thing and links to his blog, but he puts up a summary and a few pics to build interest and then says, more at my blog, here is the link.example: http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/showthread.php/219099-TR-Mount-Harvard-14-420%E2%80%B2-South-Slopes-3-26-2011?highlight=killingcokes April 6, 2011 at 4:24 pm #638330 taylorzs 47 PostsAgreed Adam! I will continue to post my TRs here as big mountain riding season in Colorado is finally upon us! :bananas: Happy corn turns! And in the interest of more shameless promotion (not really of myself but)…..Anyone who has ridden a 14er in Colorado please contact me so I can record your descent and post any pics you want to contribute to my other project; http://www.14ersnowboardproject.homestead.com . This is a non profit attempt at documenting the history of snowboard mountaineering in Colorado. Thanks! April 6, 2011 at 4:31 pm #638332 ehcarley 411 PostsDoing so might draw more traffic for you too. All you have to do is copy and paste your intro and a few pics. Once you put it on one forum, you can probably just copy and paste the text from the post and it will be formatted for a copy and paste to another forum. I’ve done a TR here, copied it to TGR and didn’t have to change any of the formatting. Pics and all copied just fine. I respect the fact that you dont have any adds though, as I will not click on any add filled blogs unless its some bad ass photog or pro rider…… April 6, 2011 at 6:00 pm #638336 PedroDelfuego 758 PostsMy only TR was from Scrubfest…. and was lost due to database corruption.Yo soy loser…….
