If you are down there, the conditions are right and you have a local to show you around I highly recommend this. I haven’t looked at topozone but my guess is that it’s 1500 – 2000 feet of nice vert with a bunch of different options to get down. It’s a pretty easy boot pack up, some of it through dirt and boulder fields. I took my splitboard but didn’t actually split it until we hit the flat section at the bottom. A view from the top: and the line we took: It was knee deep powder almost the entire way down and the line we took was completely untracked until that bottom section you can see in the pic. the wind was really scary up on top of that ridge. It’s the first time I’ve ever had to stop and lay down on the ground for fear of getting blown away. March 8, 2006 at 5:51 pm #587319 Ecobrad 2068 Posts Cool, thanks for the TR. Nice TR March 8, 2006 at 7:43 pm #587321 dfinn 138 Posts Yeah, Sherwins are definitely cool. I was really trying to push my buddy to do something a little more “remote” and out of town but I was really psyched on the terrain we were able to access from up on that ridge. Thanks again BCD for the insider info. March 9, 2006 at 8:25 am #587322 towelie 35 Posts Wow, That first pano is cool 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) ! Great photo Dfinn.
