We’re planning on having a low-key tailgate demo this saturday morning to introduce ourselves to our local splitboard community. We’ll have most of our boards there, as well as some proto stuff we’re working on and some other sneak previews for next year. All are encouraged to take a deck out for a demo and give us feedback.

    Where? Spruces parking lot

    When? Saturday April 2, 9am

What Should I Bring? Split bindings, poles/skins, full suite of avvy gear, ID, questions

Should I Tell All My Splitboarding Friends Who May Not Be On This Forum?…hell, yes

Sounds like a split party, are you providing the drinks as well. :guinness:

Might see you guys there, what’s the snow like currently…sun/crust on everything not facing N.? Could you guys be there from say 8:00-9:00 I like to be on the snow early this time of year. 9 seems late to me plus you hit the traffic which I absolutely hate and are you planning to do a group tour or just let guys take off while you wait around in the parking lot?

    Thanks ahead of time.

You guys should make a Colorado trip.

    +1 on the Colorado demo,

Perhaps an “unofficial” demo at Berthoud Pass in in order… there is a ton of snow here, and coverage should be good throughout the spring season.

I agree that Bert would be a great place to do your demo. Quick, easy tours, and lot’s of options, sun or snow.

Ditto (snow conditions, time, etc…) I’ve mostly thrown in the towel this season, but I will try and make it. Hell, I could always run the Mill D trail if the snow blows 😀

It might be nice to start a little earlier. After looking at the weather it looks like a storm comes in after noon and everything will likely crust over.

Just an FYI – we’re gonna start a bit earlier around 8:30, and please bring your bindings, pucks, touring brackets, and heel risers if you want to ride a demo.

    Thanks
