Christchurch splitters unite!
now that winter has FINALLY arrived ( with up to 2.2m at Temple!!),
maybe we should get together?
sounds like there will be a few of us out there this winter.
ChrisNZ and I did some trips in the spring last year and it was pretty good.
Trips I want to get done this year include Torlesse, Otira Slide (+- Low Peak), Mt Enys, over the back of Craigieburn above Cass Saddle, cheeky chute not far from Temple, etc etc.
Would be good to get a bit of a posse going.
I’ll be down in Wanaka for a bit too, and potentially a glacier trip late August – or Brewster Hut maybe.
And then Springtime will come and we can ride til November. good times.

Im in please!
Me and Squadon did some tree runs at broken river today, was high wind and high avydanger. Still fun to get out.

Hey it was good to finally meet you guys! Awesome seeing other splitters getting out and about. Stoked you guys topped out on 1912. So gutted I didn’t get up there but had to stick with my crew. Definitely have to get out some other time with you guys. Hope you’ve been taking advantage of the snow here in Chch. Some sneaky lines to be had on the Port Hills….

Hey b_ret. Good to see that there are other splitters out there. I’m always keen to get out riding with splitboarders so let me know when your heading out next. This next storm system looks like it could bring a reasonably amount of snow. Maybe some freshies next week?
Also there is going to be a splitfest at Temple Basin on the weekend of 18 – 19 of September…

ah cool, i will definitely go to that! :bananas: Right now the weekends plus the odd mon or fri work for me. So if anything is going down id love to hear about it.
