Forums Splitboard Talk Forum Burton vs Voile skins? Originally I planned to keep my old Burtons since they attach at the tip and tail. I was going to sell te Voiles with my old Burton split. But now I’m not so sure. The Voiles seem lighter and, well, they’re new. Any opinions? They are lighter, grabbier, and I’m pretty sure wider. I still haven’t had a problem with no tail hook yet either, however many people have solved this if it is an issue. The compromise however is a little less grip (shorter plush) and weaker glue. You’d also have to notch the tails on a not Burton split to use them with the tail clips (this may or may not be possible depending on whether the board have a full wrap metal edge). Tail clips are nice but the glue on the Voile skins is strong enough that you typically don’t need them. 🙂 Viewing 5 posts - 1 through 5 (of 5 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
