Particularly how you mounted the cap strap. (drilled, vs. different ladders)BTW… Thanks to Will for sending the few pics he had! :thumpsup:Shark Snowsurf Chuna Voile V-Tail 170 BC Voile One Ninety Five Spark R&D Arc May 26, 2009 at 3:16 am #618119 Ecobrad 2068 PostsI’m too lazy right now to take a picture and post it but you don’t need one to get it done, it’s very simple.I bought the Burton ultra light cap straps (or some name like that). The ladders are a lot narrower so I called Burton and they sent me the right ladders for free. The only mod was to enlarge the hole on the straps and ladders. I just picked a drill bit that fit the hole size of the straps I was replacing. That’s really all there is to it. Literally a 10 minute process. You’ll be stoked. Although if anyone has rigged other Burton parts onto Sparks, I’m still interested in seeing pics. Thanks!Shark Snowsurf Chuna Voile V-Tail 170 BC Voile One Ninety Five Spark R&D Arc June 10, 2009 at 8:57 pm #618121 cph 2 PostsJust curious, are you using a Burton highback as well? Thanks, cph June 11, 2009 at 2:10 am #618122 96avs01 875 PostsHaven’t done the highbacks…yet, looking for a really stiff highback that is an easier mod than a Burton (I know I’m being lazy). My straps/process are pretty much identical to what Brad described. I did take a razor and cut off some of the excess ladder/ratchet strap ends and the retaining tabs, in addition to shortening the ladders. Definitely lighter, and more cush IMO. I just put my boot in the binding, measure, cut, repeat, until it was dialed. Measure twice cut once. Viewing 7 posts - 1 through 7 (of 7 total)You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
