The was what we had at my local break recently (long Reef).
The reef is called German banks and is a Bombora about 1k Off shore.9″6′ gun paddle in not tow in.
Enjoy

NOT Tasmanias – wtf – spelling police here pull over to the curb now sir!
now if i lived down there and had the opportunity to surf that wave….well i’d prolly chicken out at that size….for sure. anyone else round here think they could take on shipsterns at that size? paddling?
please turn it into a stoke thread – but please try not to re-post pics that are already all over the net – how about some original stoke? walk down to your beach when it is pumping, shoot a few pics. viola. new stoke!
firstlight – nice – so that was during the same swell that hit shipsterns?

Same swell but up the coast a fair bit!
It’s landed again today, corduroy to the horizon
10’6 in the van heading down now
