    in no particular order.

table mountain w/ Kololo (4 laps)

rock mountain x4 (3 days) w/ Lucky, Kyle Miller

Lake side couloir w/ Kyle M(on a 4 mountain tour of crystal’s BC)

Cashmere mt circumnavigate(don’t have a photo of decsent side) w/ John Plotz

Dragontail and colchuck peaks. I spent a half dozen days in this area. dececent’s of dragontail via asgard(brad M and Stu), colchuck’s south face(John plotz and will T), colchuck glacier(John Cocci), and colchuck’s north buttress couloir(John Plotz).

    NBC

West face of Cannon Mountain. w/ John Plotz

North face of Mt Maude w/me

    CJ couloir w/me

2 attempts on shuksan, one from the south(brad and stu), then succesful from the north. w Drew Tabke, kyle Miller.

    white salmon glacier

And finally. mt baker. half dozen visits, 3 summits, and a bunch of great days and times. An epic season on their own….

first summit w/Ricahrd Lewis cd with roman wall
    second w/john plotz roman nose
third w/ Dan Helmstadter Comen headwall

epic pow day appearances by Spicoli, John K, Cookie Monster, and a few others.

I finished off with a pathetic 1 day performance on rainier’s turtle snowfield last weekend… my partner John plotz toughed it out and went down the wilson headwall.(the top of teh cliffs lookers right of the dots.

and that concludes my season. … I think. Maybe.

    Great work!

How can you be done with Baker so close?

haha,, safety meetings would be on the uphill, but all the dots would have over cluttered the scenery.

Your right Buell, what the hell am I thinking?

Like what you did over there on TGR.

But seriously, dude, how did you miss Mt. Marcy, NY or Mt. Mitchell, NC??? They are the GNAR! πŸ˜‰

Nice season (for the Ice Coast)!

Yeah, you are going to have to move somewhere else to call your season over.

This is from Saturday (before the weather) from 6500 feet. Only 4300 to the summit!

Thanks for the photo Buell. Now you have me inspired..

    Rico…

Thanks. I wrestled with where to post all that. Seemed a little skier heavy for here or other snowboard sites I visit.. Tooooo many pics for TAY. I lurk on TGR a little and figured the content more fitting. Plus, some of the people I went out with this year are regular postersr. If anyone on TGR can even be considered regular.

thanks matt.. Nice stuff on diamond. way to keep your streak going!

Me too. I was looking at the Talum glacier off Sherman Peak and was thinking of another long drive this weekend, but the weather looks poor. I cannot make it for Friday. Rebecca could not be happier. πŸ˜‰

Its all good! I have had plenty of climbing for the season. Enjoy it for me.

    Squak is still amazingly smooth.

Best birthday ever, but unfortunatly, with aging, the mind is the first thing to go… that or it’s all the drugs and alcohol. Second time i was in the general vicinty, when my much needed equipement was still at home.

Luckily a quick phone call to Sam tha Man(TGR), and I was hoooked up with a pair of 2 size too big ski boots and gigantic praxis reverse side cut rockered pow skis. i could not push them big bitches all the way up, and turned around @ about 9,500′ when Jeff came down on his return from the summit.

i believe his name was aaron… he was working at outside edge sports in wanaka.

it seems that one could meet and tour with most all the splitters in NZ in one season!

the club fields are indeed quite amusing. it would be nice to have a pass but all the good snow is outside the boundaries anyway, so what’s one more skin up the rope tow line!

    Thank you very much.

It makes a TR worth while when someone says they are inspired by it.

Hey Ale, I still think your solo venture on the North Face of Mt Maude is f****** BAD ASS!

Also, I was up on Baker yesterday and had a solid chance to stare at Coleman Headwall for about an hour. It is absolutely unbelievable that its even ski/ridable! At this point all it is is knar and more knar!

Hell yeah, I just re-looked through the photos. Lots of epics in there. You’re obviously part of a solid crew.

So next’s years TR will have green dots on the up and blue for the down? I wonder if you can set a GPS to mark safety meetings and then plot it for you. Not that you’d really want to know.
