May 4, 2011 at 7:00 pm #639998 rjc 69 Posts Woke up to cold temps and moderated winds in the Alabama Hills on Saturday morning and we were in no hurry to get on the snow. Did some sight seeing. We drove up to Bishop to find and find some fun. Wahoo Gullies: Basin Mtn. SE Gut The snow was pretty variable in here so we booted up. The snow we rode in the gully was not very desireable, but the lower zone corned up pretty nicely. Dave riding: North facing bank looking good from far, but far from good. Day 2 Darrick’s B-Day & Elderberry Canyon: One last look back May 4, 2011 at 7:25 pm #639999 Ecobrad 2068 Posts We ended up riding off the southerly shoulder of Locke since Sunday didn’t get very warm as Wahoo looked a little to hard to mess with. On Monday we rode a chute in the area that several sb.comers have ridden and it was fun. Sorry ladies, I forgot my camera but PJ might post a few. :thatrocks: May 7, 2011 at 3:16 am #640005 BGnight 1382 Posts Nice pics guys! Classic! As I speak Dave is taking a FIRST TIME splitboarder over Taboose pass. Loooool, that guy is either gonna be hooked or never gonna go again 😆 I heard a funny story about Dave driving up that Tom road with Ken and Ben in the back piled on top of all the gear too 😉 May 7, 2011 at 5:20 am #640006 jbaysurfer 947 Posts @bgnight wrote: Nice pics guys! Just wow. I knew he was thinking of that as a possibility. I gotta give credit where it’s due: A Dave tour is the single best litmus test for a new splitter I can possibly think of. Short of a Brooks solo tour. BTW..I found out this week about WHY you lost your job. Hadn’t logged in in a while. What a drag bro. ++Vibes in the earnings category going forward. Did the influx of poker noobs drop off and make it harder to pay the bills? May 7, 2011 at 5:26 pm #640001 BGnight 1382 Posts The gov’t is protecting me from myself by shutting down online poker for US players. But people try to tell me I’m a conspiracy theorist and the gov’t is not my enemy because politicians are the voice of the people *cough* *looooooool* *cough* but anyway, Osama is dead (again) so I’m gonna go outside and wave my amerikan flag and sing…”AMERICA! FUCK YEAH! HERE WE COME TO SAVE THE MOTHERFUCKING DAYYY YEAHHHHHH!!!!!” anyhoo, this isn’t the thread to jack up with my rants more snow coming monday! DOJ took action and now the sites are forcing all American customers to cash out. Stars is anyway. Edit..I was victimized by a page flip. Late to the party.
