They have their own split interface which was intriguing.Anyone ridden/toured one of these things? November 30, 2010 at 3:24 am #632330 Ecobrad 2068 PostsWhere the hell have you been? You got one brad?It looked pretty bitchin’, but I’ve never quite been able to justify a powder specific splitty for the quiver (though it DID have crampons to go with it)….maybe next season….. November 30, 2010 at 4:29 pm #632334 Ecobrad 2068 PostsNope, never seen one in the bc. Its more of a novelty than something I’d ever consider buying.Jbay–If you buy a powder specific splitboard and it’s this thing you deserve bad weather. :scratch:Think swallowtail/spearhead etc etc. @jbaysurfer wrote:😆I don’t spend much time on the gear threads I guess 😳In my defense, who have I ridden with that owns one of these things? November 30, 2010 at 5:41 pm #632336 SanFrantastico 1514 PostsThe Backcounty in Truckee has some to rent. It would be fun to get our hands on them for a day to do a review. They have a pair of them for sale, too. Mike sez the interface works great once you know the quirks, where to knock the ice off, etc. But he is a telemark skier and used to putting up with kooky gear and couldn’t speak to how they ride. They do look weird.Putting the poo in swimming pool since 1968. November 30, 2010 at 10:49 pm #632337 jbaysurfer 947 Posts @Ecobrad wrote:Nope, never seen one in the bc. I guess I should looked at it closer…I’m gonna downgrade “bitchin” to “wierd” like Storn suggests.I’m still a little intrigued though…but not at the risk of inviting bad weather 😆 December 1, 2010 at 2:08 am #632338 Ecobrad 2068 PostsI haven’t ridden it so I’m talking out of school but I’d say it’s not powder specific AND its a shitty pow specific board…if you know what I mean. @jbaysurfer wrote:So are you saying it’s not powder specific, or just that it’s a shitty pow specific board?
