    53″ and counting here on the Kachina peaks of flagstaff for St.Pats day! After basically getting screwed all year we’ve been saved. This snow is dropping on some very unstable faceted snow layers. Touring into some N facing paths a couple of weeks ago on the local mtn we dug into 80 cm of snow 1/2 sugary facets (40 cm) to the ground 😯 . This storm cycle will produce some natural avy activity be carefull fellow surfers.

    Looks like the dream is back in AZ. 2 ft dropped last weekend above 10,000, This next system has no end in sight and slated to bring more serious pow to the Kachina Peaks.
    I’ve toured only 6 times this season so far, but if this storm cycle comes through the touring on the big Volcanoe is going to be epic..

    5′ of snow on the peaks within the last 8 days. Good right side up storm, it layed down thick pow first then topped it off with some cold pow…. Every line should be filled in

    What’s more fun than N. AZ when it all fills in? Looking forward to some pics from you guys, Zude. Glad you finally got some snow!
