Last week in Washington a couple Colorado splitters got to sample some of the goods. Not much to say other than the Cascades kick ass! Monster peaks/lines/approaches to be had. The place is gorgeous. We got a good sample of everything but the deep. A little high pressure to start the week followed by rain and breakable crust at the end. Great trip, big shout out to Ale Capone for being our guide and letting us crash at his place, oh and providing some tasty food and morning joe to clean out de bowels  . Let me know if I can ever return the favor amigo. Sorry we didnt meet up with you other cascadians, hopefully next time as this was just a taste. :disco:

    Here are some pics.

Allan, we hit Steven’s a few days, 3 days in the Mt. Baker area (Table, Shuksan-White Salmon, Table) HFT and Ale made it to the Stewart range, and then another two days in the Steven’s area.

some great shots in there HFT, PNW stoke

one of the things i always like to see is when people from other areas go for a trip and splitters from this site in that area will host them or dial them in. now that is some good hospitality.

Anytime. The guys where great guests and it was my pleasure. Just happy to return the favor to Gary. Gald we where able to eek out a handful of good days. They really toughed it out and get the full spectrum of good to bad.

the house seems so empty now. I need to choose some pics to go on the walls.

So stoked you guys got after it!

That line off the spine at the top of the White Salmon is a line I’ve scouted many a times…. And you guys just slayed it!

Also, nice work on Little Alaska. Its cool to see it filling in so nicely despite all the rain destruction.

I had some of the most memorable descents of my life that week. Ale’s hospitality was amazing and it was great to have a local guide. Looking forward to doing it again!
