I had a great time in Silverton and will be back. Great terrain great corn snow. Got above 13 k for the first time this season. Won a splitboard met some good people and really enjoyed Colorado. I’m still trying to get home ,now I’m at the Denver airport. Last nights storm left me stranded here. I got a few pics I’ll post up later. Thanks to John and Josh and the venture crew. Can’t wait to try out the new board

Thanks again. Let’s see some pics

Great trip seeing everyone again! silverton has always impressed me, no matter the snow.

great work Jason and Keffler, another fun, SAFE, successful event. thanks a million for the BCA pack. super stoked!

I think next year we need to have a split- speed contest just for some good laughs. transition races, skate skiing contest, split skiing skills challenge, something wild and crazy. That would produce some funny pics.

what a trip– and driving home to the front range where we got another 10-18 inches overnight.. Colorado is really on this year!

Very cool hooking Cometogether up with the BCA pack! You the Man Eric! I think his hard work and quick reactions not only saved a life, but i like to believe also brought us Coloradan’s a good omen toward the great season we have had!

It was great seeing all you guys again! We had blast! Its great getting such a tight nit community together once a year. I always enjoy seeing old and new faces, and all the stoke for the whole weekend. People were safe and had fun, and thats all that matters. I got to ride a few brand new lines to me this weekend too, so that’s an added bonus.

I’m going to set up a place to drop pictures if you want them shared on the Facebook page. I’ll let everyone know when I set that up.

    Also, this was awesome:

Well we wrapped up another successful Silverton Splitfest! Big thanks to all our attendees who made it this year, and all our sponsors, especially Venture Snowboards for their donations and help to put on the event. A huge thanks goes out to Colorado Avalanche Information Center, Silverton Avalanche School, and American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education for their excellent talks for attendees. Everyone involved made the event that much more special.

From our donations and raffles, we were able to raise $1,690 that will be split up between the three companies to help further avalanche education and prevention!
    See you all next year!
