Pics: mmcpheet, bcrider, and a surprise appearance by gimpy.

Intro: Just the other day I was thinking about my old buddy mmcpheet and as fate would have it we both had a window of free time on Wednesday morning. Tahoe pow is here so what better way to catch up.

    Getting ready.

Surface hoar, fun as hell to ski but worth noting regarding future snowpack conditions.

    Low angle pow surfing.

Rusty technique (need to get the tip down and leading hand up).

Half way down our first run we ran into gimpy on his second run (fuggin locals always start earlier). 😀

Mmcpheet and I decided to grab a little more elevation for our exit run.

    Ollies are fun.

    So are pow turns.

Sorry no action pics of mmcpheet. I forgot my still camera and was mostly shooting vid.

Thanks for a fun morning mmcpheet! :thatrocks:

Wow those are some great shots, looks a lot better than getting rained on at Mt. Baker like I did today. 😡

Ah, sweet powder… let’s hope it lasts.

Killer, how’d ya get away from the ladies on their special day?

Sonora Pass on the eastside if you’re up for it…
    I’ll be there this weekend.

    Nice one!
Way to get some before the V-day duties kick in.
