What do you get when Prior allows their GM, Emilie, to collaborate with the shops engineers and factory guys? Well, Emilie calls it her “Dream Board.” Described as having the ideal female dimensions. Not too wide for the feet. Not too heavy. All while having a perfect solid flex unlike those other noodley women’s boards out there. Take a look at what Prior has to say about the new Slaylok.

“The board is so stable that you’ll be able to straight-line down cruds and bumps.” – Emilie de Crombrugghe

Prior SlaylokWhistler, Canada – Prior has introduced the Slaylok as the new Women’s specific twin offering for 2014/15. Taking inspiration from the Lupin and Shotgun, the Slaylok utilizes a tighter turning radius; narrower waist and softer, more responsive freestyle flex to allow female riders to have a powerful board that matches their stature. Its symmetrical shape promises maximum performance riding both regular or switch. Request to press this ride in Twin Rocker, Micro Camber or Traditional Camber at no extra cost! Available in both Fiberglass and XCK Carbon construction; offered in Solid and Splitboard.

“The minor changes with width, radius and flex made all the difference! We now reached a quick-responsive riding tool that is built with the dimensions women need and that will make snowboarding even more fun!” – Emilie de Crombrugghe

After introducing a 3 year warranty in 2012 it’s evident that the highest quality of materials and expert craftsmanship ensures longevity and performance. The Slaylok boast a vertically laminated Aspen wood core, UHMW polyethylene sidewalls, 4001 sintered die-cut race bases, Rockwell 48 edges, Kevlar reinforcements, vibrant nylon based topsheets and can be built in both triaxial Fiberglass and XCK Carbon Kevlar constructions.  Unlike most manufactures, Prior offers a unique ordering experience where you can choose from a pallet of graphics to personalize your ride before it’s manufactured. All Prior products are handcrafted in their Whistler facility that sits at the base of the mountain and might be one of the last, true rider owned and operated manufactures in the World.
