the road is the skiout for the cliff chair.usually skin in on the snowshoe trail from the blackforest just below it. the man tends to freak out if you skin on the edge of the boundary. most people go on/ past east peak to smokers bowl and beyond.

Stick with what you got at the resort.The stuff is getting expesive out there for sure

I live in Kelowna and am quite familiar with the area,the slack country is pretty limited in selection but there are a few good spots to hit up on east peak.would you be interested in hitting up malakwa/revy and rogers a few hours away though??

I did add extra carbon to areas for compressive strength. the verneer was for looks…… was going for something different but it turned out interesting.The nose piece was cut from an old board for the previous board but pressed the nose separate for this one. ill take more pics later.

Something i came up with for last years board which was profiled more for steep chutes than low angle powder.Think of it as a nose extender, as well as a shock absorber for the occasional tree hit to save the nose and infinitely more torsion than the standard nose clip. Interesting reading from old posts, haven’t he term “moonboots” in a long time.

Thought i’d make up a pair of homemade bindings for the homemade board. Canted with toe/heel lift around 450 grams.Been riding this on this on and off the resort this year to put the board through the paces. These have been the tightest binding to date to ride on that I’ve made.
