Just a couple beater jongs kicking it around the hood.

Couple other jongs snaked our exit line.

Kinda toured from one avalanched slope to another avoiding any suspicious slopes. Snow quality was still good on most aspects. Take care.

Couple laps in the popper zone and one in the cirque via bombay. Most aspects got tested, busy day out there with lot’s of interesting line choices.

Snow quality was still good on E through N facing aspects. Didn’t get on any W through S facing aspects. Take care.

Ha ha, no Taylor not moving although I might as well be since I left the week/day we finally got a decent base with some decent snow. Just jonesing, I know Dave is going to be killing it and getting a season pass for the first time in 12+ years has me really enjoying another aspect of snowboarding I forgot all about. Take care.

Winds were nuking in upper little as well. Lee ward slopes faced NE/E and looked fat. Can’t say winds are good for nothing. No need to dig a pit, quick pole probes were enough to get a feel for the different crust sandwiches and facets at the bottom N-E. ^^^^^^Good stuff SwitchBack, way to get off the beaten path.
New snow was right side up and just enough to reset most zones. Certain aspects got just the right little bit of a cross load to improve supportability without over loading the weak layer at the bottom. Not a lot of options so if it aint broke why fix it.

Today was much of the same. Winds from last night added a little bit of a wind skin to most slopes, scoured certain ridgelines but things stayed good off the ridge. Twas cold. Take care.

Got out this weekend. Tried on Friday with an early start but got shut down with visibility. Felt like I was walking upside down for while. Snow was good though, so I tried again on Saturday. Got an early start and sunny aspects were damp by 8. Most aspects were wind damaged so stuck to more protected upper bowls.
