Would anyone with some Tesla Magnetos be interested in swapping baseplates for an Tesla Afterburner baseplate? Baseplates are a size small and would need to swap for a small as well. Very good condition with just a handful of days on them.Brendan tiltedworld replied to the topic Up to Date Tahoe snow conditions and powder stashes report in the forum California 7 years, 2 months agoNorth Shore has just under a foot from the storm. 10″ measured at my house in Tahoe Donner, elev. 6550. tiltedworld replied to the topic sold in the forum Splitboard Swap 7 years, 2 months agoI’ll take’em. We got there early and had a great spot near the front on the KT terminal side. I almost felt like I should be lining up for a powder day, LOL! Good to see old and some new friends as well.…[Read more] tiltedworld replied to the topic Tesla Heel Locks!! in the forum Bindings 8 years, 5 months agoI can see using it a lot for sidecountry or even inbounds at Alpine Meadows. I use one of my splits a lot in bounds. There are plenty of quick traverses that would be great to half transition and side step or traverse (no skins) rather than fully transition or posthole. Lock down allows that. Now we just need a snowy season – I’ll even take an…[Read more] tiltedworld replied to the topic WORLD PREMIERE OF JEREMY JONES' HIGHER in the forum Splitboard Talk Forum 8 years, 5 months agoCannot wait! Another suggestion would be NW aspect of Castle. Nice tour in, not too steep plus you can kick back at Peter Grubb for lunch. It’s all above 8K too which would help with the recent snow level. The hut is just under 8K. tiltedworld replied to the topic Headscratching Outside Online Article in the forum Splitboard Talk Forum 9 years ago@802smuggler wrote:@Killclimbz wrote:This article really doesn’t add anything to it. I like Byran at opensnow.com for the Tahoe forecasts. Between the forecasts discussions, sat coverage, climatology at NWS Sacto and NWS Reno and opensnow that covers a lot. But I like to poke around other weather places like http://squall.sfsu.edu/crws/jetstream.html for jetstream maps too. tiltedworld replied to the topic Northern Vermont '13-'14 in the forum Vermont 9 years, 1 month agoLooking better, keep it coming! I need to make the decision on Sunday whether to bring the split or not, so I’ll be watching this storm closely! tiltedworld replied to the topic Northern Vermont '13-'14 in the forum Vermont 9 years, 2 months agoThanks, I’m sure I’ll get weather updates, but I’ll count on bringing the solid then.
