We’ve been doing shuttles on Red Lk Pk the last two weekends. The coverage is good and the snow is great. Burly windy on the ridge yesterday w/windpack in the upper bowl. Sweet down low. 😛

That has got to be the nicest rack I have seen on this site.

We road the Tamarack Ridge area the last 4 days. Great powder in all drainages, trees . More consolidated than last week, most hazards covered on low angle aspects. Still Powder!! Still Fun!!

I have used the pack about six time snow and I like the pack. It hikes and rides well. I don’t even notice the shoulder-box. This pack eats everything I stuff into it. I am pretty sure we can overnight with these packs (my wife has the 32L Antichist) with the “only the clothes on your back” packing style.

With the Mtn plates this thing is INSANE light! White for a snowboard is really INSANE too. Voile is INSANE!

I snowboarded down Sand Mountain in ’92. Something fun to say I did but it wasn’t fun enough to do laps.

Baseless seems cool- the being in direct contact with the board and all, but unless you ride extreme angles your toes are gonna drag. I really haven’t seen any downside to the Voile “riser” setup other than the weight. And a little extra rise never hurt on the steeps ❗

They are obviously narrower than splitskins, but they do work for low angle shots 🙄

And people thought pole tips were noisy and destructive on a trail!

I ripped a 158and added a slightly set back stance for my 5′-4″ girlfriend. It is light and fun.

Yep, I said it.

I just got some new Tnuts from Voile. They are a little bigger in diameter than the old style. Probably haven’t updated the directions.

This guy is a friend, without a sister :(, and I am not gonna fark his mom or poop on his sister, er, car. I am entrigued by the Donut Sanchez though. I don’t have keys to his pad, but I know where he lives and he is pheasant hunting this weekend. I like the flashlight thing but it has too many variables…

I have thought about wiring a dead fish to the Catalytic Converter of his WRx.

I carry a bit of bailing wire, a leatherman multi tool and duct tape in my pack, never had to use any of it in 4 years of split boarding. Just take care of your gear and take care of your gear. You don’t go on a road trip and not check the oil…
