I agree, the Scarpa Matrix are SWEET hardboots.

I’ve got three BC tours on mine, and I could not be happier.

Been riding them with low angles, in ‘walk’ mode, but buckled up pretty tight.

They hook up real nice with the Bomber split bindings, no problems there.

I’m very happy with em.

Jack and I hooked up on Sunday to ride the lightning in the Baker BC.

The light was really flat and the snow was suspect, but thanks to Jack for showing me some sweet lines to rip on a sunnier day.

I would try to sink some of the plastic screw expansion nuts and screw in your bindings. A ski shop can help you out with them.

I think if you used T nuts, countersunking them, you’d end up with about 8 to 10 t nuts to deal with, and ptex over.

What board was ripped off. Describe it, and I’ll keep an eye out for it?

i use a pair of Sierra Designs full-bibs, not even Gore Tex, but breathable, and have a huge side-zip pocket on the chest part of the bib that i use constantly.

there are more expensive pants out there, but i don’t see the point, these are working fine.

may be salvagable if you placed some of those expandable plugs in the holes…ski shops have them.

maybe someone with some shop experience could help you on this.
