Voile gave us the splitboard, and every split out there uses Voile components, Burton’s system was horrible.Maybe a few baseplates have cracked but take a look at what else fails in snowboarding equipement. The road isn’t plowed in the winter so you would have a 4 mile hike/ski in to it. I was mountain biking at Snowbasin yesterday and saw a yurt near there. I don’t know how to find out about getting a reservation for either yurt but contacting the Forest Service in SLC would be a good start. They’re a bit on the heavy side but I’ve had them for 10+ years and they show no sign of wear. Best snowboard pants I’ve ever used.
