What does everyone think the solution is?
What is the root cause of declining activity? Is the problem the new forum format? Are more people using social media and not interested in taking time to post here?
While I agree that the new format is not perfect and is lacking in areas (drill down searches, etc.), there are things that are…[Read more]

Hey @snowsavage, send me an email to colin@splitboard.com with part 1 of the TR. I’ll trouble shoot it to see what’s going on. I’m working crazy hours the next couple days so bare wih me.

@snowsavage I was able to locate your original post which I copy and pasted into your post above. I believe the post never fully loaded which is why it’s only partially there and the reason why it was missing in the forum. If you can paste the rest of or the whole TR below I can delete the messages between it.

Wow! That was an amazing trip @snowsavage. I’m so glad you pushed through to post that up.
Interesting to see the terrain in Australia, but NZ always looks so good. Especially with you flipping between mountains and coastline.

@snowsavage try pasting the TR in segments. Paste, submit and the use the edit button at the top to add the next segment.
Lassen was a good time!

@snowsavage hmm.. Try it again today and let me know if you have the same problem. I just posted a TR and copied everything from Word without a problem. Maybe the site or the connection was slow last night when you tried.

Hey @snowsavage How do you get big on your google account. After I upload mine, they all are small; about screen size. I really want those zoomable ones you got.
Cbalke replied to the topic Test in the forum Trip Reports 8 years, 3 months ago
@snowsavage I modify Hans’ code (url=xxxxx)(img)xxxxx(/img)(/url) to the square brackets and then paste it several times in the text box or word document. Once i copy the image code I highlight the xxxxx above and hit paste. As long as you only copied the image code and nothing more that should alleviate the extra spaces.

@snowsavage I edited your post above and was able to make it work. Hit edit and take a look at what you had and what I put below it.

@snowsavage That Google picture account does not seem to be public. If you copy that link, log out of your google account and then paste the link in your browser will it pull up the image? It did not work for me.

@snowsavage did you turn all of the parenthesis in HansG’s code to square brackets? ( -> [ and ) -> ]

You climb gnarly mountains in far away places and you can’t figure out how to post a TR in the new forum?
Let me see if I can help with the workflow.
Just like the old forum, Step 1 is uploading your images to your host.
Step 2 is adding the image addresses to your post.…[Read more]
