    yup i saw the venture with the reverse sidecut and it had the almond split pads. dozer has a set and they look pretty dialed. i’ll probably buy a pair this year if i can scrape together the coin.

    yea they should have made the entire line in rasta colors, next years boards look really good more of a back to nature vibe. i’m riding the 171 from last year and it seems to do everyting well enough from windblasted alpine steeps to deep blower in the old growth i’m really liking the board nice and light too, before this board i had the burton 68 which was so poorly constucted i had to retire it because it actually became dangerous to ride lol.

    almost anything will work, even a k2 fatbob. just got back from catboarding with it and it worked unreal. seems like short and wide is the way to go. just make sure to attach it to your boot with some sort of leash.

    hey monk151, thanks for responding to my post. yup…the pin guide is in place. i think you’re right about the screw length. alot cleaner than washers on top of the bracket. i will probably go pick up some 10mm screws. as the voile kit comes with 12mm. i wonder if all the burton splits come this way.

    weather dependent looks good for early next week possibly do the whole thing i’ve ridden just about everything around decker and trory it would be nice to get out past ripsaw
