Well my interest is in the ability to sidehill on steep sections, that connection point, 2 to be exact does not look like it would provide much stability on the uphill or downhill ski, looks flimsy. To me it looks like the engineered something to be light and convenient to get into, but did not think much about the touring aspect, which should be the first thing to consider since one spends more time going up than down. good on them for doing something different, I am sure The Sports Authority, Dicks and other big chains will be stoked to sell them. I hope they show up at some of the various splitfests because to date I have not seen one K2 representative at one of them, so to me that puts them far out of touch from the target market. Lets see what they do

I have a Flagship Carbon 161 and a Solution Carbon 164 – build quality is as perfect as a snowboard can get, then again I spend less time looking and worrying about center edge gaps or my graphic alignment when I am bombing down long, steep pow ramps. Perhaps all of you should stop looking at your graphics so much and focus on your riding skills as they say “you can’t blame the arrow, blame the archer”. Put your measuring tape and micrometers away and get out and ride all you tech nerds, as all the time you waste micro analyzing specs does not matter at the end of the day.

Jones does not actually make a skin, the ones that come with the Jones boards for EU countries are Montana skins, which are good skins, however we would recommend adding a tail clip to the skins as these do not come with tail clips.
